- Divorce and Remarriage: Scripture in Context, Dr. David Instone-Brewer. An interesting and informative analysis of the scriptural basis for divorce, presented within the context of the history at the time that the Scriptures were written. Interesting use of something called "PlaymoBible", looks like claymation (think Davey and Goliath from the '60's. His primary concepts on the first page of his website summarize his research. Seems that his analysis is pretty solid, though there are going to be some who would disagree strongly with his ideas related to remarriage.

- Divorce Hope, Stephen Gola. A VERY interesting site. The page below will give you the flavor of the writings contained in this website. A summary would be that this author takes about as extremely open a perspective on divorce that can be found. But, he does seem to have pretty reasonable arguments to support his points. Clearly, he is a more charismatic/pentecostal writer. A weakness of the basis of his arguments would seem to be that much of what he considers to be reasons for divorcing are clearly dependent on one marriage party's perspective. He makes no distinction between the roles of the man and the woman in the marriage in terms of ultimate authority and that is a major weakness, IMHO. Carefully consume the information in this website.
